Pulsegrid data. Pulsegrid is a static, browser-based app. It processes your music, imported files, and generated audio locally on your device. The app itself does not create accounts, upload projects or imported files, use analytics or advertising trackers, set cookies, or access your microphone.
- Nothing is stored automatically. Project data is written to this browser only when you press Save.
- Saved ideas remain until you delete them below or clear this site’s browser data.
- Imported MIDI and project files are read locally. An imported groove filename and its extracted musical data may be included if you manually save or export the project.
- MIDI and project exports are downloaded to the location you choose. Copy Seed writes only the displayed seed to your clipboard.
Public hosting. This site is served using Porkbun hosting. When you visit, Porkbun may automatically process technical usage data such as your web request, IP address, browser type, domain and referring URL, pages viewed, access date and time, device or operating-system information, diagnostic data, and an approximate region inferred from connection information. This hosting data is separate from the musical content Pulsegrid processes in your browser.
The site operator does not add analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or server-side project storage. For details about Porkbun’s use, sharing, retention, and protection of hosting data—and the privacy choices it offers—read the Porkbun Privacy Policy. Questions about Porkbun’s handling of infrastructure data can be sent to privacy@porkbun.com.
The Ko-fi support link is a plain external link: no Ko-fi code loads on Pulsegrid. If you follow it, Ko-fi and its payment providers process information under their own terms and privacy policy.

Our aim. Pulsegrid is designed toward the WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard. This is a design target, not a certification; the site has not yet undergone an independent accessibility audit.
Current measures include:
- Keyboard access, a skip link, visible focus indicators, descriptive labels, semantic sections, and announced status updates.
- Keyboard alternatives for rearranging chords and for selecting, moving, resizing, adding, and deleting generated notes.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences, including a non-moving playback state.
- Readable color contrast and interaction targets designed to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum target size.
Known limitations. The piano roll is highly visual and may be slower to interpret with a screen reader, even though notes are exposed as labelled controls and editable through the note inspector. Some complex editing tasks take more steps by keyboard than by pointer. Compatibility has not been tested with every browser and assistive-technology combination.
Feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell the site operator what you were trying to do and, if possible, include your browser, device, and assistive technology. Last reviewed: 18 August 2026.
